1. Who We Are

VisaIQ is an AI-powered Australian skilled migration research tool operated by Pratibha Mamgain (ABN 46 570 430 015), trading as VisaIQ ("we", "us", "our", "Operator"). We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

International users: The Service is hosted and operated from Australia. If you access the Service from outside Australia (including from the European Union or other jurisdictions with their own privacy laws), your information will be transferred to and processed in Australia and other locations as outlined in Section 8, subject to Australian privacy laws. By using the Service from outside Australia, you consent to this transfer and processing.

We do not require users to provide passport numbers, tax file numbers, health information, financial account details, or other sensitive information to use the Service. However, free-text content submitted by users (such as job descriptions, reference letters, or statutory declarations) may contain personal information or sensitive information. You should remove or redact unnecessary personal or sensitive information before submitting content to the Service.

You should remove or redact unnecessary personal information before submitting content, including passport numbers, tax file numbers, dates of birth, financial account details, health information, and other sensitive information not required for the duty analysis.

Human access: We do not routinely conduct human review of submitted job descriptions, reference letters, or statutory declarations. Authorised personnel may access limited content or related logs where reasonably necessary for security, debugging, abuse investigation, legal compliance, or user support.

This includes Anthropic (United States), Google (United States and other countries), Stripe (United States), and Resend (United States).

Where required by Australian privacy law (APP 8), we take reasonable steps to ensure overseas recipients handle personal information consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles. These steps include using reputable commercial API providers, reviewing their privacy and security terms, limiting the information disclosed to what is necessary to provide the Service, and relying on providers whose terms include obligations around data protection and confidentiality.

By using the Service, you acknowledge and consent to your personal information being transferred to and processed in countries outside Australia as described in this section.

9. Data Retention

We retain your personal information only for as long as necessary:

We may retain limited records beyond this period where required for tax, accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution, security, or legal compliance purposes, including Stripe billing records required by applicable financial and tax law.

VisaIQ is a professional skilled migration research tool intended for users aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you are under 18, you must not use the Service. If we become aware that a user is under 18, we will promptly delete their account and associated data. 13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to our data practices or legal requirements. The date at the top of this page indicates when it was last revised. Material changes will be communicated to registered users by email where reasonably practicable. Continued use of the Service after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
